AZAL Cancels India and Pakistan Flights Amid Middle East Tensions

👉🏼 Azerbaijan’s flag carrier AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines) has announced the cancellation of its scheduled flights to India and Pakistan on June 13, following its earlier suspension of flights to Iran and Israel due to security concerns.

👉🏼 In a statement, the airline cited the temporary closure of airspace by several countries in the Middle East as a potential safety risk. As a result, flights to Lahore, Mumbai, and Dammam scheduled for June 13 have been cancelled.

👉🏼 AZAL had previously suspended services to Tel Aviv, Dubai, and Tehran. The airline emphasized that passenger safety remains its top priority and that it is closely monitoring the evolving situation.
